Medical Secretary at BUP Stockholm

Do you want a central role in an organization that makes a difference for children and adolescents? BUP Stockholm is now looking for another medical secretary for our unit BUP En väg in, which receives all new cases for BUP Stockholm.

We work to triage all new incoming cases in the form of referrals and self-referrals to BUP Stockholm.

The unit is located at Näsbydalsvägen in Täby.

BUP En väg in offers residents under 18 years old within Region Stockholm, who are seeking child psychiatric care, an accessible and qualified assessment.

BUP En väg in handles all paper and e-referrals that come to BUP, receives care requests from patients under 18 years, and assesses these. The unit is staffed by experienced healthcare professionals who ensure that the patient and their relatives receive the right care at the right place and at the right time.

Job Description

The tasks consist of managing all incoming referrals and care requests for further assessment together with other medical secretaries, booking interpreter calls and video visits, handling orders and invoices at the unit. The unit does not have a reception as no patient visits are conducted at the unit. When work allows, and in consultation with the unit manager and colleagues, there is an opportunity to work remotely a few days a week.

Qualifications

You who are applying should have a degree from medical secretary training, as well as the ability to express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish. You should have at least one year of experience working as a medical secretary.

Experience as a medical secretary within psychiatric care and familiarity with Take Care (record keeping), Pastill (care administration), TeleQ (telephone system), and Raindance (financial administration) is an advantage.
